Amsterdam - 31-01-2003

During testing, it was hard for the players to understand how the objectives are defined.
Cause the team screen hasn't enough place for it, i explain it here.

IF YOU WANT TO FIGURE ALL OUT YOURSELF (then you're a REAL player :-) ) STOP READING INMEDIATLY !!

First of all: The objective related stuff -like planes and radios - will spawn AFTER the round is started, to avoid cheating.
So don't expect anything happen when you're alone in the map.
If you want to rehearse, wait for Amsterdam-2 (DM), that will be released next days. That one will turn on demomode when
you're alone (Xtra planes and that kinda stuff)

GENERAL:

Amsterdam is attacked by the german airforces (Luftwaffe). The airforce power is on 50% of it's strength
when you enter the battle. THe axis have to intensify it to 100%, the allies have to defend the city and need
to stop the attack. There are 4 german bombing squads, that operate independ from each other. The game starts with
2 squads attacking. The axis have to call the remaining 2 to get all 4 squads in air. The allies have to make the
attacking 2 squads to withdraw, so the sky of amsterdam is silent again.

AXIS OBJECTIVES:
You need to find the radio communications equipment to call the remaining 2 squads. You'll find pulsating and
non-pulstating radios on places in the town (which alter each round). With each radio you can only call 1 squad
and that remains the same during one round. But a squad can be called by more then one radio, so there are more radios
than 4, each squad 1 (DUH)
You can make only contact with the airforces with a pulsating radio. A non-pulsating radio is turned of for some reason. The common reason is that the corresponding squad is already attacking. Not each pulsating radio will
invoke the corresponding squad to start attacking. The squad will react differently on the situation of the battle.
When a squad is brought too much damage by the allies and has to redraw, the squad will be unable to attack for a quite
long time and you have to recall them to strike by a corresponding radio. So call the squads only on a well decided moment. Furtheron, there are some key facilities in the game for a smooth and fast strike. The allies will trying to
occupy these, so defend them as well.

ALLIED OBJECTIVES:
The allies have no communications at all, and cannot abuse the radio communications equipment. The only thing
left is shoot the planes out off the air. When you destroye some planes of a squad it will withdraw due too many
damage. The axis cannot recall the attack of that squad for some time. To win the battle you'll need a good timing with your buddies to get as much as possible planes down and when possible in a small amount of time, so the squads
have to redraw all at the same time. To get them down you'll may expose you to the german snipers, that try to hinder
your actions (if they play well), but there's no respawn limit, so don't go for as few deaths as possible.
There are also some other ways to influence the battle like sabotage, how to do that..... find out.

BTW Round switches on the walls give you access to some area so don't confuse them with radio communications equipment

Success and enjoy
